Hartamas Megah Sdn Bhd (HMSB) is an Energy Management Solutions (EMS) pioneer and delivers solutions that provide both cost and fuel savings for its customers. HMSB is focused in becoming a leader in the EMS space through its patented Genset Systems and by integrating the various legacy energy solutions to a common energy management platform that provides energy efficiency and reduces carbon footprint and enhances cost optimization. HMSB is actively collaborating with various strategic stakeholders domestically in Malaysia and regionally to bring our EMS to various sectors such as planation, forestry, leisure resorts and many other industries. These sectors are exited at the fuel and cost savings feature of our Genset System which finally provides them an opportunity to significantly optimise their energy cost while contributing positively to the environment.

Executive Chairman

Wan Shah brings a wealth of corporate experience spanning 35 years with his journey within the corporate sector that includes a diverse range of senior management positions and director roles. With over three decades dedicated to technology development and localization, Wan Shah is a seasoned professional in navigating the evolving landscape of technological advancements.

In the realm of renewable energy, Wan Shah has demonstrated his foresight and investment acumen and played a pivotal role in establishing a company that owns and operates multiple Solar PV plants. This venture underscores his commitment to sustainable practices and his ability to drive successful initiatives in the renewable energy space.

NOR ZACHY FERNANDEZ BIN ZAHARI FERNANDEZ (“Nor Zachy”)

Executive Director

Zachy is a seasoned inventor and Telecommunications Engineer who developed the HMSB’s array of fuel-efficient products. Currently at the helm of a Telecommunication Consultancy firm with a regional footprint across offices in Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand, his leadership footprint extends beyond telecommunications.

Adding to his diverse portfolio, Zachy is the visionary founder of an Artificial Intelligence big data analytics company. This enterprise serves clients in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Australia, showcasing his commitment to cutting-edge technologies and innovative business solutions.

In summary, Zachy’s journey is marked by a combination of technical expertise, entrepreneurial acumen, and a commitment to innovation, making him a significant player in the fields of telecommunications, clean energy, and artificial intelligence.

CHACKO KUNJUVARU (“Chacko”)

Chief Operating Officer

With over 19 years of robust experience in the Energy industry, Chacko who is a qualified Chartered Accountant by training, has established a track record of performance with prominent players in the region.

As a former Chief Financial Officer of several public listed companies in Malaysia and Director of an Energy company listed regionally, he played a pivotal role in steering through intricate restructuring and corporate initiatives. This involved driving successful mergers and acquisitions, executing privatization strategies, overseeing the issuance of bonds and sukuk, and optimizing financial structures.

His wealth of experience underscores a profound understanding of financial intricacies, a strategic mindset, and effective leadership within the dynamic Energy industry.
